Google Play statistics in 2006


Current (13th March of 2026) active users on Google Play shows 228 553 users and due to new apps published the overall statistics looks like this:


In comparison to 07/2026 I have reduced number of apps to 70 and active users increased by 26 thousand. I have removed the apps which did not perform well and maintaining them is a waste of time. Number of total downloads stayed on 2 million and I stayed in top 10% worldwide. Monthly downloads increased to 30 thousand, which moved the account to the top 5% of all google developer accounts. Average rating moved from 4.66 to 4.67 and stayed in top 10%. Number of ratings increased from 20 thousand to 22 thousand and stayed in top 5%.

Compared to 03/2025 app statistics no new apps were released. Last released were 10 new apps in March 2025.  

On 10th of April the system recognised two more apps (probably it reached the minimum downloads threshold). Total downloads are still between 2 and 5 millions, but it moved up compared to other developers from top 10% to top 5%. Monthly downloads increased from 30k to 100k. Average rating and number of ratings stayed the same.

It seems that there were some changes in measuring system because on 18th of April with the same 2 million downloads the place dropped to top 10% and probably some measurement changed in recent downloads because it grew to 600 thousand and dropped to top 10% at the same time, which is probably wrong measurement or an error.
