Remove ads problems

 

I have bought the Remove ads option, but the ads are still displayed.


In August 2024 Google stops supporting its older inn-app billing library https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/deprecation-faq 

and that is the reason why the remove ads product will not work anymore. Currently I do not have resources to remake the apps to be updated for the new version of Google in-app purchase library which should work for one more year. Unfortunately the new Google Play Billing Libraries are not compatible with the version of Google Play Billing Libraries used currently in my apps. 

What I can do, is to use my own money, to refund your purchase if you bought the remove ads product with in-app purchase in June, July and August 2024. The inn-app purchase prices I had were so low, that in many cases monthly subscription fees of apps available on Google Play are higher than what you paid for the app. So more than three months period of using the app is more than fair from my side. I also am not happy that the inn-app billing module is not supported anymore.
My funds are limited, so I will not finance older purchases and you can always contact Google Play support directly for a refund if they decide to refund you. You can check if you have purchased the product with your account at this link https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.

You can send me an email to prayerapps101@gmail.com with your Google Play Order ID, so that I can identify your purchase and refund you. My special refund offer will expire on 30th of September 2024. I have removed all the inn-app purchase products so that no more purchases can be made. 

Currently there will be a renewed option to buy paid apps, but not inn-app purchased products, as paid apps do not have this billing library deprecation problem. Once you buy the paid app, it is fully yours and you do not need any purchase confirmation from the Google Play server. If you will uninstall the paid app, you can later install it again through https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.



To avoid this deprecation in the future, I have uploaded the 'PRO' paid versions of most purchased apps, so that you can enjoy them without the ads. In the PRO versions, there is no inn-app billing purchase and no advertisement Google AdMob module. The difference is, that you pay directly for the app at the Google at the time of the purchase and then Google allows you to download the PRO version. No ads module and no payment module is in the app, so there is no need to connect to the Google play Billing library and there is no space for problems with payment module.  
After downloading the PRO version, you will have two apps installed on your device, so do not confuse the free and the paid app. The paid app has PRO or No ads text on the icon and the free app (with the ads and inn-app purchase module) has the regular icon. Once you purchase and download the PRO version, you can uninstall the normal version and use only the PRO version.
